Annular geared pump esp. for use as oil pump in internal combustion engine is designed to require a limited drive power. Its housing is fixed to the engine housing and has a rotatable drive shaft projecting from it. The drive shaft (38) serves to centre the annular gear (20) and has a sliding fit in the gear. The central opening of the gear has axial grooves (28) in which engage projections (44) on the drive shaft. The annular gear and the sleeve formed in one part with the projections are made of sintered metal.
