<p>PURPOSE:To prevent leak current and to improve contrast by forming an antireflection layer consisting of a material for preventing reflection of light to the boundary between an insulating substrate and switching elements. CONSTITUTION:The antireflection film consisting of the material having a high coefft. of light transmission is provided at the boundary of the insulating substrate on a substrate side provided with the switching elements and an insulator layer or the switching elements, by which this device is constituted. or example, a silicon oxide film layer 19 is provided between a glass substrate 11 and an amorphous silicon nitride film layer, by which light successively transmits toward the glass substrate 11 side. Namely, the advance of the light into a TFT 13 side is suppressed and the leak current by the light transmission of the switching elements is prevented. The degradation in the contrast of the display screen is obviated in this way.</p> |
