<p>The trolley for handling and laying flagstones, slabs, paving stones etc., has a frame mounted on two wheels. This trolley has a load carrying overhanging arm with a grab for slabs to be deposited, raised and lowered by a simple mechanism which ensures constant lifting force. The lifting mechanism has a counterweight (30) guided by a rope (24) passing around a pulley (26) and controlling the grab (22). The counterweight (30) is, at the upper position, a greater distance from the moving part of the grab than in its lower position. The upper part of the travel of the counterweight (30) is on the opposite side of the wheel spindle (8) which is also the pivot axis for the grab.</p> |
