PURPOSE:To miniaturize dimensions of an injection molding machine by making a space for moving an injection piston backward unnecessary, by a method wherein an annular oil chamber is formed of an external cylinder of a cylindrical member extending forward from the rear end of an injection cylinder and an inner circumference of the injection cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An annular oil chamber 33 is formed of the external cylinder of a cylindrical member 32 extending forward from a rear end of an injection cylinder 11 and an inner circumference of the injection cylinder 11. An injection piston 31 is reciprocated while sliding within the annular oil chamber 33 and the screw is moved forward or backward. Consequently, it becomes unnecessary to form a rod extending backward on the rear end of the injection piston 31 and a space for securing a stroke of the injection piston 31 can be decreased. |
