Abstract A device (11) for securing at least one cable using collets (26) adapted to receive the at least one cable, the device (11) including a housing (12) having first and second receiving portions (7, 9) adapted to each receive one of the collets (26) in a fitted condition and allow passage of the at least one cable, wherein the first and second receiving portions (6, 7) each include tapered internal surfaces (44) arranged in opposing directions relative to one another such that in the fitted condition the collets (26) are each at least partially receivable by the first and second receiving portions (6,7) so as to be oriented in opposing directions relative to one another.
