Cut plank separation mechanism - has lengthwise guide rail with outwards curving chutes on both sides

The mechanism separates wood cut up into several pieces, e.g. planks, these being deposited with their freshly-cut faces downwards. A lengthwise guide extends at right angles to the travel direction, having a rail (8) supporting the items (1, 3) freshly cut on both sides, together with guide chutes (20, 21). These curve downwards and outwards from the rail sides, and either extend for its whole length, or have in the last part a discharge slot for the central plank (2), both of whose sides are freshly cut. There can be guide rollers (9, 10) above and along the guide, followed by pressure rollers (17) on transerve spindles, with guide rollers (25) between them for the central plank.
