<p>Plant for mfg. parts or segments of foundry moulds used for large castings, comprises >=1 transport wagon travelling along a rail track past a row of individual work stations. The wagon is fitted with pushers moving the mould parts transverselt w.r.t. the track onto the work stations and then back onto the wagon. The stations are pref. located on both sides of the track, and include moulding; hardening; turnover; drying; cooling; coating with a mould wash; core-insertion; and mould assembly. The pushers are pref. mounted on both sides of each wagon, and consist of a crank with a vertical bar engaging in a groove on the mould part. A flow line for mfr. and assembly of mould parts 2-4 metres or more in length, where 1-10 very large moulds per hour can be made.</p> |
