<p>PURPOSE:To both efficiently collect a harmful component by a device and uniformly perform its regeneration, by rotatably arranging a purifying element to a holding member through a high temperature expansion material in an exhaust flow path of an engine further providing a heating means in the vicinity of the purifying element. CONSTITUTION:This purifying device 1, being provided adjacent to an exhaust port of an internal-combustion engine 3 in the upstream side from an exhaust turbine supercharger in an exhaust pipe 4, 4, contains a device main unit 6 connected by a flange with the exhaust pipe 4. The device main unit 6 is constituted by a housing 10 comprising inner and outer members 7, 8, metallic cylindrical holding member 12 fitted to an annular recessed part (b) in the internal peripheral surface of said inner member 7, longitudinal set of cylindrical high temperature expansion materials 13, 14 closely fitted to an annular groove (c) formed in the internal peripheral surface of said member 12 and a disc-shaped purifying element 15, 16 fitted to the internal peripheral surface of said material 13, 14. While the device main unit 6 has in its upstream side a regenerating heating means 27, while enables the holding member 12 to be rotated in the peripheral direction by a rotating means 17.</p> |
