<p>The miniature d.c. motor (1) uses supplies between 1.5 and 25.0 volts, for use in toys etc. or for powering motor vehicle accessories. The motor design is such as to minimise the problems associated with construction on such a small scale and to provide a flexibility of construction for individual requirements. The overall design is co-axial and includes stator magnets (150) trapped immediately within the motor casing (100) which are symmetrical about the three winding laminated stator which carries an orthodox armature and brush pick-off assembly. The rotor is supported at both ends by nylon end plates (200, 300) carrying self lubricating bronze bearings (620) made up from an elastically deformable and compressible synthetic material.</p> |
