Paralysed patient foot positioning equipment - has sole plate movable in relation to trough section which fits against leg

The equipment allows a paralysed or spastic patient who is unable to move his lower limb to keep it in the proper position without risking formation of a sore on the heel. It has a sole (1) movable in relation to a trough section (2) fitting against the leg. The trough section can extend from the top part of the calf to the lower third of the latter, so that there is no contact between it and the heel. The sole can be fixed to the trough section by two bars (5), allowing it to pivot. A device can also be included to allow the patient to move the sole, and for fixing the latter in the desired position.
