Railway track rail (10) fixture assembly comprises sleeper (12) or similar base, anchoring member (14) with rail-parallel slit, and resilient clamp (18) with straight end shaft piece held in the slit with a clamp poined end, away from this, offset sideways and lying on the rail flange. The slit (16) is non-circular in cross-section, and the straight shaft piece is of complementary shape, so that engagement provides for torsional moment resistance in the shaft piece, and for resistance to movement in a vertical plane parallel to the rail. The slit may be of rectangular cross-section, open long one side of the anchoring member, and provided with steel sheet cladding. |
