摘要	<p>A mobile weigh bridge comprises a pair of main weight supporting beams connected by secondary transverse links. A lever mechanism transmits weight to a laod indicating device subject to limitation imposed by fixed pillars mounted on floor support plates and on the central transverse links. For transporting the weigh bridge removeable extension pieces are bolted between the fixed pillars and main load bearing beams. This enables the whole assembly to be raised in a locked position and loaded into a transporting vehicle.</p>
