<p>The writing tip of a ball pen uses a capillary ink feed system, partic. for low viscosity inks. The ball seating is pref. of thermplastic material, the ball rests centrally on at most three points with a central supporting area, capillaries pass through this supporting area for ink flow to the ball or to a circular duct in its seating, and, if desired, a capillary feed wick lies in the central feed duct for ink supply from its reservoir to the ball. Simple design with durable and reliable ball seating, permitting constant ink flow by capillary.</p> |
