<p>The capillary substratum is of laminated structure incorporating a waterproof plate or sheet and a plate or sheet of fibrous material transporting a watery fluid and retaining it in the space between the fibres. The sheets or plates are secured to each other over virtually all their surfaces in contact. The waterproof plate can be of rigid ductile material, or flexible, and the fibres can be of plastic, being joined to each other by fibres comprising sheath and core. The two plates or sheets can be glued together. The substratum can be used for gardening purposes and a line a trough, the suction force being >= 100mm and the water absorption >= 8.0g.</p> |
