<p>A welding installation comprising a flexible hose consumable weld wire feed into the welding gun includes a branch connection fitted to the hose behind the pressure reduction valve attached to the protective gas supply bottole, to which is attached a hose for a blowing-out pistol. Pref. the pistol is fitted with a mouthpiece permitting its connection with the gas inlet end of the flexible welding wire feeding hose for the welding gun. The provision of the branch gas supply for the pistol obviates the necessity for a separate compressed air line for the periodical blowing out of the wire feed mechanism.</p> |
