The sealing strip for car windows etc. has a U-profiled metal insert (6) covered by flexible mouldings complete with retaining tags (14) for the glass etc. The metal insert has slots (10) so that it can be bent into the corners of the frame with the curvature of the strips reinforced by curved segments (18) applied to the outside of the strip. The strip becomes a universal fitting, with the required length cut off and bent to shape. The reinforcing strips can be shaped to fit different radit. |
