The hydrodynamic railway vehicle transmission system involves three tractive working circuits, for three different speed ranges, and a brake working circuit for hydrodynamic braking. One of the two running converters is mounted on the same axle as the second, with the second secondary shaft and second primary shaft in common, the four circuits being arranged at the corners of a rectangle. The first running coverter and start converter are mounted on two adjacent corners of this rectangle. The transmission gears in the spur wheeling linking the secondary shafts are laid out for purely mechanical transition from start converter to first running coverter.
|
