The two ceilings are inclined wrt each other at a slight angle (suited to the light source and the size of the room). The upper ceiling is of reflective material, and the lower one is alternatively reflective and translucent. The reflective surfaces face one another and convey light from the side of the room towards the middle. Pref. the reflective parts are of metallised polyethylene terephthalate, and the translucent zones of the same plastic but unmetallised.
