<p>The piston-type air or gas compressor has a device injecting liquid, partic. oil, under pressure into the compression chamber. There is a system for separating the oil from the air or gas delivered and for recycling it, cooling it in the process. Air can be admitted to the cylinders via ports in the cylinder walls, or via a single port leading into the compressor crankcase. All air can be delivered to a common chamber. One or more of the cylinders can have its head extending downwards and the injection device can operate permanently, and can also discharge via a nozzle into the crankcase.</p> |
