Compression-packaging of soft, elastic, blocks of foam - by pressing together in selected direction, stacking and packeting

Blocks of soft and elastic foam are packeted, either individually or in superposed layers of several such blocks, by first compressing them by a pre-determined percentage, stacking them whilst in compressed state, and finally combining them into parcels. The blocks are compressed in that direction indicated by the rise of the expanding foam during mfr. Used e.g. in mfr. of plastics foam mattresses. Compression of the foam blocks in selected direction produces evenness in the final prod.
