The epicyclic gear train has two connected input shafts (W, Z) fitted with sun wheels (S, S') which mesh with planet wheels (B, B') carried by the cages (C, C'). The planet wheels also mesh with the internally toothed wheel (A) which is also provided with external teeth (D) which mesh with the pinion (E) of the auxiliary motor (P). The drive from the cages (C) is transmitted through the idler gears (R, R') and gears (K, K') to the output shafts (M, N). The speed and direction of rotation of these output shafts can be controlled by varying the speed of the auxiliary motor (P). The variation in speed is stepless and the ratio of output to input speed can be either increasing or decreasing.
|
