Floating mole with prefabricated hollow concrete elements - with prestressing cables laid in channels in walls of elements

Floating mole comprises a row of prefabricated hollow concrete elements which are closed on all sides and prestressed by means of cables laid in channels in the walls of the elements. The mole is mfd. by applying a release agent to mating surfaces of the concrete elements, which are pref. formed on mating attachments of epoxy mortar. The elements are then laid on a flat substrate in their final posns. with gaps which are then filled to torm precision mating surfaces. After the filler has set, the elements are sepd. and re-joined in floating relationship, and prestressed after introduction of cables. The mole can have any degree of rigidity and resistance to stress.
