Thefluorescent lamp housing for more than one tube has sides (50, 501) with arms (51, 511) sloping inwardly and upwardly to support the plate (53) carrying the adaptors (54, 541) holding the lamp tubes. These sides are in turn supported by a bridging member which consists of two member (57, 58) clampled together by screws (61). The sides have L shaped extentions (55, 56) projecting inwards, back to back, with a space between them. The curved tips (59, 60) of the bridging member then fit inside these extensions, the tension holding the sides on the member. The design permits changes to be made simply to suit two or three parallel tubes. |
