The present invention relates to an optical film obtained by polymerizing a compound including at least one polymerizable group and a group represented by formula (A), -G_a-D_a-Ar-D_b-G_b-. In the formula (A), the Ar represents a bivalent group having at least one aromatic ring selected from the group consisting of an aromatic hydrocarbon ring and an aromatic heterocycle, and a total number (N_) of a electron of an aromatic ring included in the bivalent group is 12 or more.
