<p>The auxiliary ring is for flanges of pipe- and machine sections to be connected. The ring consists of preformed synthetic elements on a metal wire. The ring (1) consists of a metal, which is hardened by cold forming, and has a cross-section with a plastic deformation, caused during the initial bending of the ring, which corresponds to the curvature of the flange collar. The wire may have a circular cross section, and the elements may be spherical (2). The wire may consist of austenitic steel or consist of stainless steel.</p> |
