The folding door has door panels connected on vertical edges with hinged connectors. The panels are connected at upper edges to guide rails by sliding suspension elements. This folding door is readily produced and installed. Each suspension element is able to slide on associated door panels in the plane of this panel in horizontal direction. The suspension elements are able to rotate on the door panel about the sliding axis. The suspension element is inserted into cavity within the door panel and it is able to slide on a guide pin in the end walls of the cavity.
