<p>The mascara applicator has a lower part which contains the mascara and a handle part which closes the lower part and includes a fluted rod for applying the mascara. When the handle is put in place on the lower part, the rod passes through a scraper ring formed of a slightly elastic material. The inner dia. of the ring is roughly equal to the dia. of the fluted part of the rod, the ring being mounted with a certain radial and or axial play. The ring is mounted in a downwardly facing cup-like member with an annular base allowing the passage of the rod.</p> |
