<p>The unit is particularly for printing plates, and comprises first and second housings mounted end to end, each with an opening in each end. A conveyor belt assembly in the first housing protrudes through the end opening in the second housing while a second belt in the second housing runs to the other opening. A sprayer in one housing washes the item handle led while on the first conveyor belt, and the item is then dried in the other housing, the two belts being driven in the same direction. The belts are in line with each other in the lengthwise direction, being close enough for items to be transferred between them.</p> |
