<p>The see-saw device consists of a cross support bar with seats carried on a pair of curved see-saw runners. The runners (12) have straight end pieces with a curved centre piece (19). The two runners are spread in the centre by a cross piece (25) and are brought together at each end to be fixed to the support bar (14). The support bar (14) projects past the runner ends to form a stop against the see-saw rocking too far. Seats (16) are fixed on cross pieces on the support bar. The seat back end (23) is positioned so that when the bar end contacts the floor the seat is held above the floor to avoid the users fingers being squashed. A cross brace foot rest (31) is fitted to keep the feet within the volume (V) of the see-saw.</p> |
