Floating swimming pool cover - has pattern of recesses underneath, covered by plastics foil

A floating cover for swimming or paddling pools, has recesses (6) underneath (4) facing downwards and sealed against the surrounding material (5). The recesses (6) are covered with a waterproof foil (7) usually of plastics material. The walls of the recesses (6) on the lower side of the covering (1) are in grid shape crossing each other. The recesses (6) reduce the size from the opening towards their interior and the cross section of the recesses extending vertical to the liquid surface has the shape of an isosceles triangle.
