<p>In the liq. aeration/circulation rotor mounted on a vertical shaft for use in activated sludge or surface water effluent treatment plants, as in DT 2009840, in which the upwardly open, funnel-shaped annular rotor body is provided on the underside with downwardly extending ribs running from its inner to its outer edge, and forming impeller blades in conjunction with flat blades projection in the direaction of rotation and fixed to the lower edge of the ribs in the outer annular zone of the body, the improvement whereby the edges of the blades lying in the direction of rotation of the rotor merge asymptotically into the ribs in the direction of the rotor shaft.</p> |
