The machine has a frame accommodating one or more working heads, and a coupling body to tractor three-point linkage with three or more sides when seen in the direction of travel. Seen in this direction the body has two opposite sides clear of each other, so that the body is at least partly open on one vertical side. It can have two parallel arms, one above the other (38), forming a U-shaped body and joined to each other roughly at the centre. Where the working heads are driven via an intermediate shaft from the tractor power take-off, the intermediate shaft can be arranged to swing between a position between the body sides and one to the side of it.
