Roof mounted ventilator system with a face attached to the ventilation aperture cut in the roof and connected to a vertically directed discharge duct. The ventilator fan constructed in the lateral flow type design (12) has the vertical outlet offtake duct (24) bounding its side wall (23) which runs roughly horizontal or at an angle to the roof level (14).
