Front cover for light display - made from transparent plastic with matt finish and is held by spring fixing elements

The front cover is used for an alpha-numeric light display employing individually controlled light elements, in an office machine or electronic calculator. The cover is made from transparent plastics in the area overlying the display elements, and is given a matt finish, to cut down reflection from the cover. The cover may comprise several similar cover plates positioned next to one another so as to cover the front of the display, each of which has spring fixing elements (1....4) co-operating with retaining elements at the side or in front of the display. These fixing elements may be positioned at the corners of each front panel or cover plate and spacing elements (5....10) may extend along its upper and lower edges.
