<p>The refrigerated multi-shelved sales display cabinet is provided with a light (12) which is covered on top by a light screen (13) which is designed with double walls (15, 16) which are preferably not connected together although non-heat-conductive spacers may be used if a connection is necessary. The double walls, preferably of metal, of the light screen thereby provide inside the light source screen an air space having a very high heat insulation effect so that the heat from the light is trapped inside and cannot affect the meat, pastries or the like which are on display. The ends of the light screen are preferably connected to the supporting structure of the cabinet so as to provide extra reinforcement.</p> |
