1528157 Moulding tyre treads DUNLOP Ltd 9 April 1976 [16 April 1975] 15595/75 Heading B5A A tyre tread for application to a tyre carcass is moulded from a curable elastomeric material by heat and pressure which is controlled to effect a substantially total cure of the material at the surface formed with a tread pattern without total cure of the material at the surface which is to be applied to the tyre carcass. The tread may be in strip or ring form and may include reinforcement. It may be applied to an uncured partially cured or totally cured carcass and the assembly then totally cured.
