Frequency tester for reliable use of furniture locks has motor driven jointed coupling fixed to transmission part of key which rotates back and forth. It has in addition to the jointed coupling a transmission which converts the translational movement of the lifting rod into a rotating to and fro movement of the shaft (9). The lifting rod is connected directly or by means of an intermediate part (10) to a sleeve (11) which is inserted in a bushing (12). The sleeve (11) moves in the bushing (12), and has a tapped groove inside for a bolt which projects radially from a piston housed in the sleeve.
