<p>The machine has two meshing gear wheels on parallel shafts (12, 13) in a cylindrical casing. The shafts are carried in bearings (20) in bearing blocks (8) on both sides of the gears. The casing is closed by end plates screwed to the cylindrical body which press-on the outside of the bearing blocks. Each bearing block has grooves (23, 231, 23a, 24, 241, 24a) on the face which presses against the end plate. Sealing strips are inserted in these grooves and separate the end face of the end plate into various zones. Outer zones (27, 27a) are in communication with the inlet and discharge connections and end zones (28, 28a) are connected by channels (29) with the working spaces between the gear teeth. An inner zone (30) is similarly connected by channels (21) with the working spaces.</p> |
