<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of an AC exciting synchronous machine by constituting an exciting transformer with polyphase parallel multiplex voltage type inverter circuit and converter circuit and performing current balance control of the parallel inverter circuit based on two phase components of (d) and (q) axes. CONSTITUTION:A controller 8 performs PWM(pulse width modulation) control of an inverter circuit 6-1 through an inverter control circuit 18 such that the output from an AC exciting synchronous machine 1 has specified power, reactive power, voltage and optimal frequency. A converter control circuit 21 controls the output voltage from a converter such that the power factor of the converter approaches to 1.0. Current detectors 11, 12 detect output currents from parallel circuit which are then subjected to 3phi/2phi conversion through a 3phi/2phi converter 15, and a current balance circuit 16 performs current balance control. Balance control is carried out on (d) and (q) axes together with the output from the controller 8 by followed 3phi/2phi conversion through a 2phi/3phi converter 17 thus performing PWM control of the circuit 6-1.</p> |
