PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a traffic jam by devising a season ticket. SOLUTION: A time difference season ticket (1) has a memory area into and from which an automatic ticket examination machine can write and read data. Season ticket information including an effective section, an effective period, a use possible time band or a use inhibition time band or type information showing whether the ticket is the time difference season ticket or not is stored in the memory area. The ticket is inexpensive when it is used while avoiding the peak time band of the jam and it cannot be used in the case of the peak time band or can be used by separately paying a prescribed fare.
