PURPOSE:To prevent the aging deterioration in the dehydrating performance of the titled dehydrator due to the clogging of a filter cloth by providing a multistage scraping plate for repeatedly scraping off the cake deposited on the surface of a rotor when the purging stage is finished on the slurry tank side. CONSTITUTION:While a disk sector 1 rotating on a rotating shaft 2 passes through the slurry in a slurry tank 3, the solid components in the slurry are deposited on the filter cloth on the surface of the sector 1 by the negative pressure in the sector 1. When the sector emerges from the slurry, the water in the solid components is sucked by the negative pressure in the sector 1 and removed to form cake. The deposited cake 9 is stripped off by the back-purge air in the sector 1, before the sector enters again into the slurry (in the purging stage). At this time, the cake on the filter cloth on the sector 1 is scraped off by the first-stage scraping plate 5, and dropped into a chute 4, and the cake remaining on the filter cloth is scraped off by the second-stage scraping plate 6 and dropped into the chute 4 from a discharge hole 8.
