Improved fixing of a beam, of the type in which the beams are fixed at their ends with the aid of a support and in which each beam is provided, at each of its ends, with fixing elements by which the beam is supported on and fixed to the fixing locations provided on the sections. It is characterised in that each fixing element is formed of a `Z' section of which one shoulder forms a support for the beam and the second shoulder serves to be supported on the sections. The beam is fitted at both ends with fixing elements of this type.
