PURPOSE:To attain sufficient sound field reproduction by shifting the phase of a speaker in two speakers at a middle and a high sound range with a phase shifter. CONSTITUTION:A phase shift quantity of either of a middle or a high sound range from at least two speakers 8, 9 is shifted by a phase shift device 7. In this case, the middle and high sound ranges are decreased in the front axis of the speaker equipment by a shifting the phase of the phase shifter 7. Thus, the sensitivity in the middle and high sound ranges in the front side axis is decreased and the sensitivity at both sides in the vicinity of the front side axis is increased. Thus, even when the speaker equipment is directed in the listening position, the presence of it is lost and a spread sound field is reproduced. |
