PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a stepping motor by inserting a reverse current preventive diode by mutual inductance and providing a closed loop constant current switching circuit, thereby suppressing the vibration at the time of driving at the constant speed. CONSTITUTION:A driving circuit has exciting current switching circuit 9 of the respective phases of exciting coil 8 and a spark killer circuit 10. A reverse current preventive diode 13 by the mutual inductance is inserted between the circuits 9 and 10. A current flowing through the coil 8 is controlled within the prescribed range by consuming the stored energy of the coil 8 by a circuit having an energizing current switching circuit 11 having an energizing current detecting resistor to the coil 8 and a hysteresis comparator, a flywheel diode 28, and a flywheel diode 28 for connecting the coil 8 to a power source VM or disconnecting the coil 8 from the power source VM. |
