PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio equipment that reduces heat generation and current consumption of a display means, having confirmed that a channel is switched after a user confirms a current set channel. SOLUTION: In this radio equipment, a channel is set by changeover of a channel changeover means 3 and communication is established, a channel set at present on a display section 4 is displayed in response to application of power and when the channel is switched, and the contents of display are updated. When a prescribed time elapses after the operation of the channel changeover means 3, display is cleared. When the channel changeover means 3 is operated while the display is cleared, the channel number prior to the clearance of the display is displayed on the display section 4. |
