<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication system and an optical communication method with which an optical signal is efficiently transmitted. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission apparatus 2 transmits, before each of data signals each comprising a 8-bit MAC frame, a reference signal including pulses whose number corresponds to each MAC frame number a receiver 3 recovers a clock used for sampling on the basis of the received reference signal pulses, recognizes the frame number by counting the pulses, and cross-references the recognized frame number with the data signal received for every 8 bits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
