A backlight unit of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to reduce resistance components disturbing driving current supply by reducing a length of a wire by disposing the driving current supply wire, connected to a common electrode of the LCD device, so as to pass through a piece formed within it. A cover bottom(210) has a receiving space. A reflection sheet(120) is attached within the receiving space. First and second side bottoms(220,230) are disposed within the receiving space of the cover bottom and symmetrically placed in both sides of the reflection sheet. First and second common electrodes(250-1,250-2) are commonly connected to each of both side ends of plural lamps(110). A first piece(240-1) is interposed between the lamps and passes through the first side bottom and the cover bottom.
