<p>A device for simultaneously and/or group wise random measuring fluorescence light emitted by sample-reagent mixtures contained in a plurality of reaction vessels, comprising (a) an array (12) of photodiodes (13) built on a chip (14), each of the photodiodes (13) of the array being apt to receive fluorescent light (15) emitted by a sample-reagent mixture (16) contained in one of said plurality of reaction vessels (17) and to provide an output signal representative of the intensity of said fluorescent light (15), and (b) an integrated electronic circuit (18) connected to said array (12) of photodiodes for processing output signals provided by photodiodes (13) of said array, said integrated electronic circuit (18) being mounted on said chip (14) on which said array (12) of photodiodes is built, and the output of each of the photodiodes (13) of said array (12) of photodiodes being directly connected to a corresponding input of said integrated electronic circuit (18). <IMAGE></p> |
