PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reducing a memory use amount and a calculation time and achieving higher quality of a restored image by facilitating construction of a dictionary in an image output device and minimizing the number of entries being pairs of image patches to be stored in the dictionary, in the case where a high quality input image is turned to a lower quality image when performing network transmission or performing storage in a database, and the input image is turned to the higher quality image using a dictionary for learning type super-resolution in the image output device.SOLUTION: An image reader 2 includes: image conversion means 23 for turning a prescribed image to a low quality image to create a lower quality image; dictionary preparation means 24 for preparing a dictionary for restoring the low quality images to the prescribed image; and transmission means 25 for transmitting the low quality image and the dictionary or information related to the dictionary. An image output device 3 includes: reception means 31 for receiving the low quality image and the dictionary or the information related to the dictionary; and image restoration means 33 for restoring the low quality image to the prescribed image by using the dictionary or the information related to the dictionary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
