1. A liquid crystal composition comprising:
at least one compound represented by General Formula (i) where Ri represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; a compound represented by Formula (ii) compounds represented by General Formulae (44.1) and (44.2) at least one compound represented by General Formula (X-3-1) where R10 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and compounds represented by General Formulae (11.1) and (11.2) wherein the total amount of the compounds represented by General Formulae (44.1) and (44.2) is in the range of 6 to 12 mass % relative to the total mass of the liquid crystal composition, and the total mass of the compounds represented by General Formulae (11.1) and (11.2) is in the range of 21 mass % to 35 mass % relative to the total mass of the liquid crystal composition.
